Write for us
We welcome considered pitches about preserving traditions, pantry choices, seasonal food keeping and the objects or habits that shape how food is saved for later.
What makes a good pitch
Send a focused idea with a clear reader question, the central point you would explore and a few lines on why the subject belongs in Lasting Food Journal. We favour specific, evergreen stories that explain a choice, compare approaches, trace a history or notice an overlooked part of pantry life.
A careful approach
Pitches should distinguish established information from opinion and avoid unsupported claims, sweeping cultural generalisations or instructions that could be mistaken for safety guidance. Please disclose relevant commercial interests and do not send confidential material or work that depends on invented sources.
How to propose a story
Use the Contact page to send your proposal, choosing the editorial option and including a working title and brief outline. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before sending a full draft.
